I even waited 20 minutes to get the front seat for a comfortable 100km journey. But my budget ride turned into a complete disaster! 😭 What will you see in this vlog? 🎒 The Shared Sumo Scam: How our Sumo got stopped by Meghalaya police at the check post due to illegal/unbilled goods (no GST bill) and we were forced to abandon the vehicle midway. Changing Multiple Rides: From being comfortable in the front seat, I ended up in a local auto-rickshaw and finally got squeezed in the back seat of another Sumo just to reach Shillong. Bad Guest House Experience: Why I had to immediately check out of my smelly Shillong guest house and hunt for a cleaner backpacker hostel. Shillong Traffic discipline: A great observation on how strict and disciplined the traffic is in Meghalaya compared to the rest of India.
