Cherar Kottai 1 & 2 by Gokul Seshadri is the 2nd and 3rd Book of the Rajakesari Series. Cherar Kottai traces back in time from the Rajakesari story and starts with Raja Raja Chola sending everyone out of Chola Nadu who conspired to kill his brother Aditya Karikalan. The Killer is a famous Kalari Teacher, Thirunarayana Battathiri, who is the head of Kalari schools located in Chera Nadu, and the Pandya who lost their land to the Cholas are trying to identify their place in the Chera - Chola war. The book is written with multiple POVs instead of the typical White vs. black narrative styles we've seen in Tamil Historical fiction novels, which is a fresh breath of air.
