#12 | Rodrigo Alessandro Risiglione “Rigo Risig” | Nevada Rush 2011 Select (Las Vegas, NV) representative, was out at the “Day 1” event of the “Rush Global Skillmaster Combine.” Players were tested and trained to update their “Rush Player Profile.” In November of 2025, Rodrigo was “Selected” as a top player out of his Las Vegas, Nevada Rush Chapter, Soccer Club. With that nomination, Rigo earned an “invite only” trip out to West Palm Beach, Florida where he played on a 2012 Rush “West Coast” Regional team. These various Regional teams played in an event called the “International Rush Cup,” where various “Regions” of the United States that host a Rush Chapter, gathered all the “Top Rush Players” within the United States. As well, the International Rush Chapters from Canada, Bolivia & Barbados were also invited out to compete at the IRC! As these “Regional” teams competed against each other, Rush Scouts & Recruiters seek out the “next tier” of elevated talent within the “Rush Network” of Players. Then, after a thorough analysis, those players whom were scouted at the Regional event in Florida, later get invited out to make up a “Super Elite” team of “Rush National Players” for each age group. Those Rush National teams then get organized into a tournament like that of the Mayor’s Cup in Las Vegas, Nevada or the President’s Day’s Cup in Phoenix, Arizona and even other events like that of the North Carolina FC Raleigh College Showcase in order to compete amongst all the top youth clubs that come in representation of MLS NEXT, NPL, E64, National League, ECNL; etc. This is how “Rush Soccer” presents greater opportunities to the top players within their whole Rush Network for further exposure and higher tiers of competition. Impress enough Rush Scouts and Recruiters at any of the National events, then you might get your ticket punched to fly out of the USA & compete at the highest of all Rush tiers, which is the “Rush International!” As the President’s Day Tournament kicks off on Saturday, February 14th, 2026, on Friday the 13th, 2026, Rush hosted their own “Rush Combine” for all the Rush National players to test their speed, agility, footwork, ball control, awareness, touches; etc. This “Skillsmaster Testing/ Training” took place at Mountain View Park in Scottsdale, Arizona and lasted for about 4 hours. This is also the only given chance where these various “Rush Players” from all over, get that moment to train and get to know each other before they hit the pitch to compete against all the other top notch youth soccer teams at these events. It may be the only opportunities the Rush Coaches get to organize and format a team to compete, just 24 hours prior to kick off. As there are normally enough talent to create two (2) teams of each age group within the 2012 born year of players, Rush creates an “A Team” of whom the rename the Rush Global “BLUE” team and then the “B Team,” of whom their rename the Rush Global “WHITE” team. Mind you, that these are still the TOP 30-36 Rush Players in the Nation, so they’re all super competitive by nature and skillful by abilities. Not much skillful difference between those top 30-36 players. It’s been tradition to get the 2012 Blue team to run a scrimmage against the 2012 White team at this “Day 1” gathering, and there, amongst a private session, the “Best of the Best” Rush Players get to go at each other and claim who actually may be, the “better team!” It’s all part of the Rush Nation’s “Competitive Love” structure that’s organically a byproduct of the competitive pathways the Club has created. The intent is that competitiveness, game, grit and heart, all is initially brewed “in-house.” If we can compete at the highest level against each other from within our own Club House, then competing against the World, should then become part of the landscape that our Rush Players are constantly exposed to! In this 2026 rendition, Rodrigo was picked for the “Rush Global 2012 Select WHITE” team. At the Day 1 scrimmage, TEAM WHITE took the win, 1-0 vs TEAM BLUE! This video highlight’s Rodrigo’s footage from this Day 1 outing in Phoenix, Arizona with the Rush National Selected Players. #TopDrawerSoccer #FutureFootballer #Futbol #Canchero #AthleticScholar #FutureCollegeSoccerPlayer #NCAA #NAIA #CollegeSoccer #WesternAthleticConference #WAC #B1G #MountainWestSoccer #BigTenSoccer #CollegeSoccerRecruit #SoccerRecruits #CollegeRecruiting #NCAAsoccer #NAIAsoccer #StudentAthlete #RecruitMe #ProductiveRecruit #NCAAD1 #NCAAD2 #NCAAD3 #NJCAA #RushSoccer #RushSelect #InternationalRushCup #WeAreTheRush #RushNation #RushNational #RushInternational #MLS #USL #UNLVsoccer #UCirvineSoccer #SoccerProdigy #MLSnext #ECNL #DripFC The video was made with the app “SPLICE” & all sounds and music were uploaded utilizing the app SPLICE and its music from the app’s audio selection.
