Heltec Helium Miner Hotspot Antenna and Rewards Now It's Up and Running.

So for those who saw my video about the Heltec Helium Miner Hotspot here's an update. I've now moved the Heltec Helium Miner into my loft where it will live, there are a few more modifications I need to make, one of which is moving the antenna to the outside. I've updated the antenna to a 6.2dbi version from the stock one. Is the stock one crap? Probably not, however, with the exception of 1 other hotspot, I need to reach further out, so an antenna with a flatter signal(?) profile was needed to reach 3km - 10km away. The earnings figure you see is from approx 7 days, from x2 Heltec Helium hotspots – 1 at my house and one installed at a friends. On one of those days, my Heltec Hotspot 'wigged out' and was down. Ideally both hotspots antenna need to be better optimised (i.e. roof mount) while my Heltec Hotspot at my house, needs to be asserted slightly further away from another nearby miner. Rewards were better for my hotspot earlier on for some reason, seem to be on the lower side now. This video was also done just before the POC December 2021 update. ************************* I ended up ordering 2 Heltec Helium Mining units. Heltec have stopped taking PayPal as a payment option - which is a bit annoying for the non-crypto savvy among us.
