Outerra Anteworld 2022 in 4K mimicking Earth2.io

Earth2.io style video of Outerra Anteworld recorded from a PC into an 4k Atomos Recorder to showcase the tech behind world rendering on an 8 year old engine. All in realtime with the terrain not downloaded to the harddrive. Since it has become a discussion that procedural generation of earth and its terrain 1:1 isn´t possible at the moment, I decided to make a terrain video (by using outerra anteworld) starting at the very same location as the earth2 video does to shed some light about this amazing engine. Outerra is open source and although it might not look like recent AAA titles it is quiet impressive and fun to roam aroun in it. I use it since the E2 terrain video came out to check out how locations feel in a gameplay context. We will have to wait if anyone can proof this.
