This game follows the plot of the first Shrek movie, where the title character is a boring and terrifying green ogre who loves solitude in his swamp, sees his life interrupted when various creatures of fairy tales are exiled there by order of the evil Lord Farquaad . Shrek tells them that he will talk to Farquaad to send them back. He takes with him a talkative and lively Donkey who knows the way to Duloc and in this way, the Shrek knows Princess Fiona, that falls in love with the ogre to have many things in common with him, but the Fiona already was promised to the Lord Farquaad and Shrek needs to fight for the love of the princess, while dealing with the personality and advice of the Donkey. In the game you can play with Shrek, Donkey or Fiona. It's a linear but fun game, but it helps to get an idea of the movie (an excellent movie by the way, and it had exciting sequences).
