20th October is the day we celebrate a profession that many may not be aware of. Air Traffic Controllers are the people behind the scenes that ensures all aircrafts takes off, flies and lands safely at their destination. The job of an Air Traffic Controllers is unique and demanding for it requires parallel thinking and rapid decision making. Each controllers are well-trained using practical and simulation methods in acquiring the necessary skills. Air Traffic Controllers are responsible in preventing collision between aircraft in the air, on the maneuvering area and between aircraft and obstruction as well as to expedite and maintain an orderly flow of air traffic. Let's together thank all of our Air Traffic Controllers for their contributions and sacrifices made for the aviation industry. Happy International Air Traffic Controller’s Day to our heroes that keeps Malaysian Sky safe!
