In this weekend trip, we travel from Dublin to County Offaly, where we will visit some of the most haunted places in Ireland. We will explore medieval castles with intriguing legends and rich history. In Leap Castle and Clonony Castle we will have the luck to enjoy a tour around them with their current owners. We will walk around the charming gardens of Birr Castle and the streets of this historic Irish town. Also we will visit Clonmacnoise, one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland history. And no trip in Ireland can be complete without adding a fairy forest, in this case, we do a short trekking through the Silver River Gorge, part of the beautiful Slieve Bloom Mountains.
