Finally. The mystery of the yellow stripes in the line has been solved. I have to say that I went through every single thing that I could think of before it began to dawn on me what happened. I don't know if anybody has ever seen this before, it was definitely new to me so I had to think a little bit outside the box and use the evidence that I had in order to reach a conclusion. If you weren't up-to-date, this Turf is two weeks old. It was installed into topsoil, and it has received proper watering and care since install. At the initial installation there were some odd patterns in the turf. It initially just seem to be some sort of a stress but it became more apparent as the grass settled in. What started to look like a nutrient deficiency or a potential chemical burn was not at all the issue. This was stress plain and simple. But why would it have so much stress right out of the gate, well obviously, harvesting the Turf itself will put it immediately into a stressful state but getting into the ground quickly should mitigate that issue. There were a few pieces of evidence that led me to believe something more mechanical was the culprit. As the turf established there became a shingle type pattern that was showing up throughout the lines where the turf was laid. As it ends up, the turf was harvested with an uneven blade that produces a sloped cut causing stress to the grass on the thin side. So, now that I know that this isn't something that's chemically related and will only resolve itself overtime as the roots get down deeper into the soil, I can continue on the process of making this place look awesome. Make sure you are subscribed because there's going to be lots of video coming out on this as it comes into its glory over the next few weeks. Thank you all for the input in the last couple of videos on what you were seeing as it did truly help me to identify the issue at hand. shop.lawncology.com [email protected] #yellowstripes #Lawnproblemsolver #Lawncology
