Dragon Age: The Veilguard released on October 31st of 2024 and was a lightning rod of controversy when it released, seen as the game that killed the dragon age series. Now a year later I've decided to examine the game from the perspective as a fan comparing it to the standards set before and articling the parts I find frustrating about the game, but also those I find brilliant. Welcome to the Bottom of the Video description where I give a little bit of extra lore on a project. It feels weird to have finished looking at the Dragon Age games, this was around a yearlong project and now the question is what next? Something more casual sounds like the best idea. The Veilguard video in particular was nice to finish, after talking about the others I wondered if I wanted to cover this game in the first place, the conversation around it was exhausting, more about outrage surrounding the game or certain scenes than about discussing the actual games merits, that's not to say all of them of course but the shouting often got the most attention. Sitting on it for a year felt like the smart move and I'm proud of how this video turned out, I gave my take and articulated why I thought a certain way, that's all someone can do. I learned a lot during the process and I gotta take that as a win. In any case, thanks for watching, until next time! #dragonage #rpg
