A winter stroll through the streets of Jerusalem, away from the classic tourist center. We continue to explore the city on a January day, walking through the streets adjacent to the center of Jerusalem. These areas are less crowded, tourist groups are rarely seen here, but at the same time, traffic is noticeably busier — the city is living its everyday life. Our walk through the streets of Jerusalem begins in the Mamilla Center area, from where we exit onto David HaMelekh Street. This is one of the city's major thoroughfares, connecting the city center with residential and government districts. The street is lined with hotels and administrative buildings and leads to green areas. The route then takes us to the Montefiore Windmill, located in Blumfield Garden. The Montefiore Windmill is one of the symbols of Jerusalem's expansion beyond the Old City in the 19th century. Today, it is a peaceful, open space where a historical site coexists with city life. Continuing our walk, we pass through Ze'ev Jabotinsky and Shalom Aleichem streets, typical Jerusalem streets with dense buildings, where you can feel the residential character of the area and the rhythm of everyday life. There are fewer shop windows and more cars here, but it is streets like these that show the real, non-touristy Jerusalem. We come out onto Keren HaYesod, a wide street connecting the city center with the southern districts. It plays an important transport role and at the same time runs along green areas and public buildings. The route then continues along Gershon Agron, a street known for its proximity to government offices and quiet squares. Here, the city seems more restrained and peaceful, especially in winter. We continue our walk through the streets of Jerusalem along Menashe Ben Israel and come out onto Yo'el Moshe Salomon Street, one of the oldest streets outside the Old City, connected with the early history of modern Jerusalem. This street has retained the special atmosphere of the old quarters and the unhurried pace of city life. We end our walk with a brief visit to Jaffa Street, one of the city's main and busiest streets, where the pace of business, public transport, and pedestrians remind us once again of the scale of modern Jerusalem. This walk through the streets of Jerusalem shows the city from a different angle — without the tourist hustle and bustle, in a wintery, everyday mood, where real city life unfolds outside the center.
