Arranged by Emami Arts and Alliance Francaise Du Bengale The Homage of French Master Filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard was an important event in the cultural calendar of Kolkata, at a time, when a new language for film is yet to be born, and, what young aspirants are striving for in art houses and in the domain of experimental films. Emami Art has been a pioneer in supporting young talent showcase their ideas, collaborate and take part in constructive dialogue through panels discussions like this one on Godard's films where star cast included Anjan Dutt, Prof Sanjay Mukhopadhyay, former Film Studies HOD at JU and Madam Ratnottama Sengupta, who has been a journalist working on Film and Arts for the last 30 years.
