How Hitech TGR Shapes Future F1 Drivers | FanAmp Insider

Have you ever wondered how drivers like Alex Palou, George Russell, and Isack Hadjar got their starts? Who prepared them to compete at the highest levels of motorsports? Think back to a coach, teacher or boss you had growing up. Someone who taught and challenged you to be your best. Well, for those three drivers, and many more, that’s been Hitech TGR. We sat with Hitech TGR Formula 2 Team Manager, Clive Hatton, and Formula 3 Team Manager, Paul Bellringer, to understand how they shape the future talent on their way to Formula 1 and beyond. They gave us insight into what it’s like working with up and coming drivers, including F2 drivers Luke Browning and Dino Beganovic, as well as F3 driver Martinius Stenshorne, all of which are currently enrolled in the Formula 1 driver development programs. Working closely with the Ferrari Driver Academy, Williams Driver Academy and McLaren Driver Development Programme is no easy feat and adds another level of complexity in the pipeline of supporting a driver in the feeder series. And although they note it’s more of a success rather than an obstacle when a driver or even a mechanic moves on to further their career, Clive and Paul delve into the ways they have to continue adapting Hitech GP to keep it competitive as they fight for those coveted wins.
