In February 2026, we celebrate the powerful transformation of Joyce Green. Joyce came to Sandhills Adult & Teen Challenge after incarceration and the heartbreaking loss of her family relationships. She arrived broken, searching, and in need of hope. Today, she stands restored. Through faith, accountability, biblical discipleship, and hard work, Joyce experienced more than sobriety — she experienced heart change. God rebuilt what addiction and incarceration had torn apart. Her family relationships have been restored, her identity renewed, and her future redirected. And the story doesn’t stop there. Joyce has chosen to stay and intern with us, giving back to the very program that helped change her life. What the enemy meant for destruction, God is now using for impact. This is what restoration looks like. This is what redemption does. This is what hope produces.
