Mercari will host an overseas dispatch program called "Mercari BOLD Program for Women: Global Edition"! The program will take place in one of five countries: the United States, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or South Korea, and will feature an ideathon from August 22 to September 1, 2025. This program will be conducted in teams of five, each consisting of members from different job categories. In preparation for the final presentation, participants will first spend four days at Mercari's office in Japan, conducting research centered on user interviews and considering proposals related to product functionality development, strategy, and marketing (format is flexible). Afterward, participants will travel to their respective countries. Upon returning to Japan, they will give a presentation on the final day. During the presentation, participants will propose their ideas to a panel of judges, including the Representative Executive Officer and CEO, Shintaro Yamada. 【Mercari BOLD Program for Women: 2025 Global Edition Schedule】 From 22nd August, 2025 to 1st September (9 days) Tentative Schedule: 8/22 (Fri), 25 (Mon), 26 (Tue): Program in Japan (Roppongi Office) 8/27 (Wed): Travel to respective countries 8/28 (Thu) - 8/30 (Sat) *Local time: Stay in respective countries 8/31 (Sun): Travel and arrival in Japan 9/1 (Mon): Final presentation *Detailed schedule including travel will be explained at the pre-briefing session.
