Gurugram on alert after Delhi Bl@st, DCP Arpit Jain says Police also monitoring social media

Gurugram Police has been placed on high alert mode with strict security arrangements at all important and sensitive locations. Patrolling has been increased in markets and malls, while real-time CCTV monitoring is being carried out from the control room. According to DCP Headquarters Arpit Jain, both SWAT and CIA teams have been kept on alert mode to ensure public safety. Security around major religious places has also been tightened. Speaking on the ongoing i20 car investigation, DCP Arpit Jain said that the police are questioning several individuals and urged citizens not to believe in rumours.
