But underneath, it showcases guilt, avoidance, and the uncomfortable things we spend years convincing ourselves that “weren’t that serious.” It’s a psychological drama-thriller where memory, conscience, and reality slowly bleed into each other, until you’re not quite sure which one you’re watching anymore. Please do watch this short-film at your own risk! Thanks :) The film was made by a group of four young aspiring filmmakers (including me) during the Digital Filmmaking Workshop at Objectifs – Centre for Photography & Film. Over the course of the programme, and under the guidance of Daniel Hui, Pok Yue Weng, and Ric Aw, we went through the entire filmmaking process together — from throwing around half-baked ideas and arguing over the script, to storyboarding, shooting, and finally cutting it all together. What came out of it wasn’t just a short film, but a shared attempt to translate something deeply internal into something you can sit with, listen to, and feel slightly unsettled by.
