Today at nearly 81 years old, Billy Cobham is still defying time with his high-level drumming. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's, he was the gold standard of powerhouse jazz fusion drummers, playing most notably with Miles Davis' band, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, and with George Duke. Cobham made some incredible records with his own band back in the 70's, "Spectrum" from 1973 would be at or near the top.
