Matthew 3:16-17 NIV 16  As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, & He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove & alighting on Him. 17  & a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.” Psalm 147:11 NIV 11  the Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. Luke 7:44-47 NIV 44  Then Jesus turned toward the woman & said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears & wiped them with her hair.  45  You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet.  46  You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.  47  Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Philippians 2:12-13 NLT 12  Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. & now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence & fear.  13  For God is working in you, giving you the desire & the power to do what pleases him.
