三河伝統花火 －とよかわ手筒花火－ 降り注ぐ火の粉に打たれながら抱え続ける祈りの炎。 その心意気が天地を焦がし、見るものの心を揺さぶります。 手筒花火は、火薬を詰めた竹筒を抱えて打ち揚げる、三河地方の一部に伝わる伝統花火です。 手筒花火は戦国時代に使われていたのろしから発展したと云われており、火薬の製造を許可されていた三河地方は古くから花火が盛んでした。 花火は放揚する者がみずから2か月ほどかけて作り上げます。技術は地域ごとで代々伝承されており、その工程ひとつひとつに揚げ手の願いが込められています。 この映像は2024年7月19日（金）～7月21日（日）に豊川進雄神社で開催された「豊川夏まつり」で奉納された手筒花火（てづつはなび）の様子です。 ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー Mikawa traditional fireworks Toyokawa Tezutsu Fireworks The flame of prayer that continues to be held while being struck by the falling sparks. Its spirit scorches heaven and earth and shakes the hearts of those who see it. Tezutsu fireworks are traditional fireworks handed down in parts of the Mikawa regions (located in the east of Aichi Prefecture) that are set off using bamboo tubes filled with gunpowder. Tezutsu fireworks are said to have evolved from the Noroshi fireworks used during the Sengoku period, and fireworks have long been popular in the Mikawa region, where the production of gunpowder was permitted. It takes about two months for the person releasing the fireworks to make them himself. The techniques have been passed down from generation to generation in each region, and each step is filled with the wishes of the master. This video shows the hand-held fireworks that were dedicated at the Toyokawa Summer Festival held at Toyokawa Susanoo Shrine from July 19th (Friday) to July 21st (Sunday), 2024.
