The start of a thrill ride: the first single City is spotted by game manufacturer EA and appears on the soundtrack of the immensely popular soccer game FIFA 12, among artists like Foster The People, The Naked And Famous and The Strokes. The song has been viewed over 250.000 times on YouTube. The guys from Utrecht present their danceable pop/rock on Eurosonic/Noorderslag and De Wereld Draait Door and as Serious Talent they are frequently heard on 3FM and seen on festivals. De band shares the stage with artists such as The Kooks, The View, Kensington and Go Back To The Zoo. This is followed by two successful album tours climaxing in a jampacked Tivoli and Paradiso. Then silence kicks in. The band experience tough times and is on the verge of quitting several times. When by the end of 2013 the smoke has cleared, the bond between the band members is stronger than ever. THE MEDICS is back, with the Swedish recruit Daniel Hallin on keys and guitar.
