A Pathfinder club yearly camping is to: 🌲 1. Outdoor Skills & Adventure Camping helps Pathfinders learn practical outdoor skills—setting up tents, cooking outdoors, navigation, knot-tying, fire safety, and more. These are key components of many honors and class requirements. 👫 2. Teamwork & Leadership Living together outdoors encourages cooperation, responsibility, and leadership. Campouts give staff and youth a chance to bond and work as a team in ways that regular meetings can’t. 🙏 3. Spiritual Growth Nature is a huge part of the Pathfinder philosophy. Campouts provide space for devotionals, worships, and reflection in a peaceful setting, helping youth grow spiritually. 🎉 4. Fun, Friendship & Memories Camping is exciting! It’s a chance for Pathfinders to have fun, explore, and build lasting friendships. 🧭 5. Preparation for Camporees Annual club campouts help prepare kids for bigger events like conference-, union-, or international-level Camporees, where camping skills are essential.
