In August 2023, we took the cruise "7 Days of Norwegian Legends" with Holland America Line's MS Rotterdam. In this video, we take you aboard to beautiful Norway. Our trip started in Amsterdam and then went to Eidfjord, Alesund, Geiranger and Bergen and ended again in Amsterdam. At the beginning and at the end of the cruise we also had a relaxing day at sea. During our cruise we sailed through Hardangerfjord and Geirangerfjord. You will see that the Norwegian fjords are really beautiful from a cruise ship. You will get a good impression of how enormous the fjords are. During the trip we will show you all kinds of things on board the ship like the pools, Jacuzzis, lounge chairs, entertainment and restaurants. In this video we give you a detailed tour of our balcony cabin 7010 and give you all kinds of tips. For example, my wife uses a CPAP. For this you need a power supply at the nightstand. For Eidfjord, we had booked the excursion "Ultimate Eidfjord & Norwegian Lunch" with Holland America Line. With this excursion we stop at the Sysendam, the Vøringsfossen and the "Hardangervidda Nature & Wildlife Center." For Alesund, we had booked the "Wildlife Sea Safari" excursion. This is a two-hour RIB boat adventure organized by 62 Degrees Nord Adventures. In the video you can clearly see the tremendous speed of the RIB boat. Along the way we stop at seals and a huge colony of Gannets. For the place Geiranger we had booked the excursion "Geiranger highlights" with "eMob Geiranger". With this tour, you drive yourself along the highlights of Geiranger in an electric Renault Twizy in two hours. We stopped at the "Queen's Chair" at the Flydalsjuvet viewpoint and at Ørnesvingen overlooking the Seven Sisters waterfall. In Bergen, we walked around on our own. And we used the Hop On Hop Off bus route as our walking route. Among other things, we went to the Rosenkrantztårnet, the Maria Church, Bryggen and the lake Skomakerdiket on top of the mountain Floyen. You'll see in this video that you can also do something on your own just fine. We always take two hours off. This way we don't stress.
