What Medical Equipment Challenges Do Ugandan Hospital Staff Face?

EWH Institute participants sat down with hospital workers in Uganda to ask how a lack of functional medical equipment impacts their work. They shared their difficulties with long equipment downtime, lack of user training, and trying to find ways to work with what they have. One solution to these challenges is more biomedical engineers and technicians who can repair and maintain equipment, supporting the work of nurses, lab managers, and doctors and strengthening the healthcare system.
