Born in Haiti, Naderson Saint Pierre began his artistic journey as a storyteller, turning childhood tales into a lifelong devotion to art. A self-taught painter, he is celebrated for his vibrant, deeply emotional portraits that honor Black identity, love, and resilience. After losing his home in a flood and enduring years of instability, Naderson found purpose through painting. His path eventually led him from Haiti to Florida, and later to New York City — a move inspired by The Alchemist, a story about pursuing one’s true treasure. Facing homelessness and uncertainty, he chose to keep creating, transforming hardship into art. Now exhibiting internationally across New York, France, the Netherlands, and South Korea, Naderson’s work embodies perseverance and hope.
