The Colour Socks Parade 2023 - Let's Team Up for Inclusion

The Colour Socks Parade (CSP) is an annual event held in conjunction with World Down Syndrome Day and World Autism Awareness Day. This year's theme of 'Inclusive Sports Fiesta' provided the stage for Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWIDs) to demonstrate their sporting talents, and introduced them to different sports, broadening their choice of activities in keeping fit. An array of sports activities including mass workouts, friendly games and even a mini olympics were organised across MINDS schools and centres between April to June 2023. This created many opportunities for our community of students, clients, caregivers and corporate/community partners to interact with and understand each other better.
