Gap chat method has also been proposed to avoid late sowing of wheat after late maturing basmati rice. Wheat crop is a cash crop of Pakistan. It has the potential to uplift the economy of farmers by getting higher yield. This can be achieved if weather conditions and soil health support the crop production.
