Don't throw out your dead Tile Sport! And, when you replace the battery, do NOT cut and discard the metal ring. The other videos tell you to do this—cutting the metal ring is difficult, and it is absolutely not necessary. I replaced the battery in my dead Tile Sport in mere minutes, and all I needed was a screwdriver. My Tile now looks and works the same as before. One small note: After I replaced the battery, the Tile app continues to tell me, "Replace Tile." I also get the occasional email from the company, insisting that I need to order a replacement. But, I've been using the re-juiced Tile for months now, and the Tile itself functions flawlessly. REPLACEMENT BATTERY: CR2032 3V Lithium (inexpensive and widely available—I got mine at the dollar store) TOOL REQUIRED: Small flat-head precision screwdriver (say, an eyeglasses screwdriver), or any tool with a small, sharp edge.
