Sri Lanka's Worst Train Ain't Too Bad 🇱🇰

We took Sri Lanka's lowest class train journey from Kandy to Colombo. First we took a 4 hour bus from Maha Oya to Kandy in Central Sri Lanka. Here we had a fantastic rice and curry lunch before taking Sri Lanka's third class unreserved train from Kandy to Colombo. Luckily the train wasn't busy at all so the journey was super enjoyable. We met so many nice Sri Lankan people and the scenery was unbelievable. The travel day wasn't over yet, we then had to get another local train from Colombo to Negombo which was pretty terrible. Upon arrival in Negombo we met loads of dishonest auto rickshaw drivers so we just decided to walk the 30 minutes in the blazing heat to our hotel.
