Loomigurumi Unicorn design by me. You guys have no idea how happy I am to FINALLY have a unicorn design on this channel. I feel like I have been trying to make a unicorn design since I started this channel, but for some reason it would never work out. I feel like this unicorn fits in well with a lot of my other designs too. It's pretty perfect, and I'm very happy with it. I tried to go a little bit slower this tutorial so it might be a little longs. I also kinda sorta talk a lot, if you don't like these parts just skip them. I can't wait to see how your guys's unicorns turn out, so please share them with me. I hope you guys like this tutorial :D My Socials :) Instagram: / gingercel Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/gingercel?r... TikTok: gingercel Band Count Unicorn color: 253 Mane color: 49 Hoof color: 31 Horn: 4 Total: 337 Pattern Tripled cap band and chain up one 5 stitches in cap band and chain (10) Increase every other (15) Increase two on each end (19) (At this point your unicorn should look like an oval so it's pretty easy to tell.) 2 rows normal Legs 4 loops per leg, 3 single stitches and then chain up 2. Go back into first loop, single stitch and put the c-clip on this band. (5) 3 rows normal (5) (Switch to hoof color) 1 row normal (5) Decrease until closed (Leave 2 loops empty on each side of the unicorn between the front and back two legs. Should be 4 loops completely empty once you are done with all the legs. One leg needs to share a loop with another leg. Do this with one of the front or back legs that are next to each other.) To close up the bottom of the unicorn starting on one of the empty loops on either side chain up two. Then put your hook through the loop across and tie off. repeat for other empty loop. Neck Stitch 8 times in a circle where you want the neck to be (8) 3 rows normal Set aside (Leave c-clip holding band) Head Tripled cap band 5 stitches in cap band (5) 1 row normal (5) Increase everything (10) 1 now normal (10) Now we need to tie the neck and head together. Decide what you want the top of your unicorn's head to be and then put the head piece and the neck piece next to each other. 3 loops in the middle should pretty much line up. We will be stitches these 3 loops together. Stitch 3 times in the middle tieing head and neck together. We will just be doing single stitches and looping like we usually would just instead of going through 1 loop we and doing through 2 loops (head loop, neck loop). Decrease every other Decrease until closed. Mane (Similar to fluff bands we are gonna be adding some extra bands on single stitches to make the hair. A couple things are different. For the hair bands it will be a doubled cap band, and then chain up one. The other difference is we are gonna add the hair bands after we push the loop from last time over. Starting at the very bottom of the neck we are gonna stitch 3 times in a row adding hair bands. (reminder we add the hair bands after we push the loop over. So we pull our hook out, double cap band and chain up one then we put our hook back in the loop and slide what is on our hook over.) Keep adding hair bands and rows of 3 stitches until you reach the top of the head/are happy with the mane. (I did 7 rows. Also once I get towards the top I like to add the ears so I can see where they are gonna be. Then I will add a couple extra stitches with the hair bands in front of the ears to give him a sorta curl that comes in front.) Ears Cap band wrapped 4 times Chain up one doubled band Chain up a double doubled band Pull a band through and use this band to tie ear to unicorn Horn Cap band wrapped 4 times Chain up 3 doubled band Pull a band through and use this band to tie horn to unicorn Tail (6 separate single chains) Tripled cap band, and chain up 5 Leave on hook, and make 5 more single chains like this. Pull a band through everything and tie into unicorn.
