Hi guys! Today I wanted to take you through the breakdown of a complex polyrhythm: 3 vs 4 vs 5. It could also be seen as a polymeter with groups of 12 playing on top of groups of 15 on top of groups of 20 (haha). As you can hear, that's not so interesting to listen to. That's why I prefer playing superpositions of shorter groups of notes, with a more manageable subdivision, and more composed rhythms. I also have a "graphic" version of it if you want to give it a try and need something visual! Don't hesitate to ask me. I hope you'd have enjoyed this! I promise I'll post some "music" soon haha ;) Cheers! Don't forget to subscribe for others videos ;) --------------- If you wanna dive deeper into how to create and master this kind of original rhythm, and use polymeters in your playing, compositions and creativity in general, I wrote a drum method, The Polyrhythm Odyssey, dedicated to it.
