This video demonstrates four different (yet very similar) 3club tricks using "half-flips" ..The first trick is a cascade variation, the rest are all 423 variations. These are not 'beginner' club tricks, but they are not super difficult either. If you already have a bit of experience with 3club juggling, you should be able to learn these tricks without too much trouble. What does "423" mean? watch my siteswap tutorial! part 1 • SITESWAP BASICS juggling tutorial (part 1) part 2 • SITESWAP BASICS juggling tutorial (part 2) ----------------------------- Video Index: 0:01 intro 0:36 The "half-flip" 1:40 This trick is simply a cascade with every club thrown with one-and-a-half spins. Immediately after catching each club on the "wrong" end, quickly do the half-flip and continue the cascade. 3:13 423 double half-flip variation. Juggle 423 in columns, and on each '2' you will do two consecutive half-flips. The first half-flip starts by holding the handle, then you will be holding the club by the "wrong" end, then do the second half flip. The '3' going back and forth in the middle will always be the same club, and the two clubs on the outside of the pattern alternate between being a '4' or a double half-flip. When I first learned this trick, I did all double-spin throws. In this video I only demonstrate the single-spin version, but you can try it with double spins if you need more time to make the half-flips. 5:13 423 false mess variation with half-flip under-arm '2' If you are already very comfortable with the "false mess with thrown 2s" with balls, and you are comfortable with some basic 3club stuff, this trick shouldn't be too difficult to grasp. This is more of an 'intermediate' trick, so if you are having a lot of trouble with this, maybe you should learn some easier club tricks and come back to this trick some other day. I think the hardest part about this trick is being able to consistently throw one-and-a-half spins on every '4' ..it takes a while to get used to doing that. I have another tutorial video that gives a more detailed explanation of how to do the false mess with balls, along with some slo-mo demonstrations. Skip to about 1:05 in the following video: • how to juggle: the traffic light 7:50 423 variation with behind-the-back half-flips. Probably the most difficult trick in this video. Just juggle 423 in columns, throwing each '4' as a one-and-a-half spin. Each '2' will be a behind-the-back half-flip. It's a simple concept, but not necessarily an "easy" trick. Good luck!
