Environmental disaster at the last stop on the Denton Denton County Trinity River Greenbelt parks. It is the place where the USACE and TPWD let deadwood drift down and pile up until it rerouted the river across the 380 Park parking lot. Pure genius at work here. Park has been down and out for years, and funds were depleted for the dredging / clearing below HWY 380, after ONLY about 200-yards had been cleared. The 380 Park is the third in a chain that connects Lake Ray Roberts to Lewisville Lake Dallas. At one time, it was a spectacular place to kayak, hike, bike and bird watch. Now? Well ... you can go from Ray Roberts Dam to the 428 Park, but there's no longer the last leg from 428 to 380 - the best leg of the Greenbelt.
