We are very excited to welcome you to the first episode for our travel day to Orlando 2018. Hello there, we spent two weeks of our 2018 summer holiday visiting Mickey Mouse and friends at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. Flying from London Gatwick on British Airways we were staying on-property at Disney's Coronado Springs for our first week before heading off to our apartment in Windsor Hills Resort in Kissimmee. On this trip we get to ride Flight of Passage, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain for the first time. Two days before our trip David tripped down some stairs and damaged his ankle which meant we had to revise some of our holiday plans, but you’ll be able to see how he manages Disney World with a crutch and a disability pass. In this episode we travel to Gatwick South Terminal for a long anticipated stay at the Bloc Hotel, where we enjoy a night in a runway-view room on the top floor. We were fortunate enough to be travelling to Orlando MCO airport in British Airways Club World, so we had access to the Gatwick BA Lounge before our flight. In Orlando we collect our car from Alamo and drive to Coronado Springs and check in to our newly renovated room in Casitas 5 before we go to EPCOT, to get our annual passes and a disability pass, and end the evening riding Spaceship Earth and Frozen Ever After.
