Kurnool Bus Tragedy: Andhra CM Naidu Announces Compensation for Victims | NewsX

Following the devastating Kurnool bus fire on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru highway, Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep anguish and directed officials to rush to the accident site to oversee rescue and relief operations. He announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh for families of the deceased from Andhra Pradesh and Rs 2 lakh for the injured. The tragedy claimed 25 lives, including passengers from AP, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, and Bihar.
