PRISTINE Winter Planespotting at Chicago O'Hare International Airport

Chicago O'Hare during the winter months is an absolute wonder to plane spot at. On clear days, the lighting is unmatched especially if there's snow on the ground, providing some incredible contrast. Wanting to capture some scenes with these awesome conditions, I and some friends went up to ORD a few weeks back for some spotting. This was the one day within two weeks that there was proper sunlight throughout the day. Some notable catches were the Lufthansa A340-600 and two sports charters for the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls. We saw a variety of widebody operations, including the special Qatar Cargo "Moved by People" 777F. I was hoping to catch the main 3 p.m. heavy rush (Emirates, TAP, Qatar, and especially Air New Zealand) however one of my friends had some errands to do...meaning we missed those arrivals.
