Elena Ardelean works on AI and digital transformation for international organisations, including the World Bank, where she supports governments in designing and implementing national strategies and policies. She previously served as Head of Digital Transformation and Innovation at the Tony Blair Institute, and founded AI4DevelopmentAgency, a global initiative focused on AI education and inclusion. Her work has shaped AI strategies, ethical frameworks, and public sector reforms, and earned her awards including “Best Non-Profit AI Advancement Organisation – Europe”. She is also a member of the European AI Alliance, a visiting lecturer, and a frequent speaker on AI governance, equity, and innovation.
