The Tesla Model Y has officially launched in India! Prices start at ₹59.89 lakh for the Standard Range variant and ₹67.89 lakh for the Long Range. The updated Model Y gets a refreshed design with LED lightbars front and rear, improved aerodynamics, new aero-optimised 19-inch wheels, and ADAS tech including Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning. While Full Self-Driving is factory-locked, it will be enabled via OTA once Tesla gets permission to enable this in India as per regulations. Inside, it features Tesla’s signature minimal cabin with a 15.4-inch central touchscreen that controls nearly everything. The Standard Range gets a 62.5kWh battery with a WLTP range of 500km, while the Long Range gets an 84kWh pack with 622km range.
