Cologne in a day: Everything you need to see in Köln, Germany 🇩🇪

On this one day walking tour of Cologne, Germany I get to show you all the highlights the city has to offer. We started the tour from the Main Train Station in the Heart of the City. The main attraction, the Cologne Cathedral, is located right next to the train station. It’s Germany’s MOST VISITED LANDMARK. We visited the inside of the main building, you can decide to climb up the South Tower for some stunning views and go underneath the Cathedral to see the Treasury. We took pictures of the colourful houses at the old fisch markt then walked north along the Rhine River to the Rhein Seilbahn, a gondola that crosses the Rhine River, walked through the Rheinpark, headed up to the observation deck of the Köln Triangle for views of the Cathedral from the other side of the river, crossed over the Hohenzollernbridge, which is covered with over 500,000 love padlocks, strolled through the Rhine Garden with its colorful houses and restaurants, you can check out the Deutzer Bridge for the views, and ultimately end up at Früh - a traditional German brewhouse. If you have some more time, stop by at the Schokoladen Museum to learn about chocolates, taste some and watch the whole process. Hope you enjoy the tour!
