My third video on the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max. After completing the assembly of the machine and attaching one of the ACE Pro units, I printed a benchie and then ran off a "poop bin" to catch the purged material that would be generated by multicolour prints. After that, I decided to do a speed/quality test by slicing the same plant-pot STL file for the Kobra and my Neptune 4 Max. Speed-wise the Neptune had an edge, but the quality on both was excellent. Unfortunately the race came to a premature end when I swapped the white PLA spool on the Kobra for what should have been the same type of PLA, but the batch I had received was PETG instead. One doesn't bond to the other, so the joint quickly came apart. One problem with the Anycubic slicer is that the Kobra 3 Max only has a 0.2mm layer height profile available as default. Elegoo's slicer for the 4 Max has several and I compared the 0.2mm profile on both machines and found them almost identical. I created a custom 0.1mm profile for the Kobra 3 Max and copied the parameters from the corresponding Neptune 4 Max profile. Then I ran off a couple of test cubes to compare the results.
