We've caught a few 2023 Hyundai Palisade testers in recent months, wearing heavy to hide an upcoming facelift. We don't have full information on the changes just yet, but Hyundai's new teaser images take a big step in that direction. Unsurprisingly, the automaker's current design language will adorn the front end of the flagship SUV. The bold grille doesn't share the angles or triangle inserts seen on the Tucson, but the theme is similar with skinny wings on top. On the Tucson, these corners are actually lights that blend into the grille, but that may not be the case here. Spy shots show cutouts in the heavy camouflage that suggest there are lights, but we've never seen them lit up. We've seen the vertically oriented running lights, possibly sharing center stage in these teasers with the grille. We've also seen the main headlights located in the corner housings, although you can't see them in the teasers. Even with the image levels increased in Photoshop, we're treated to a sea of ​​black alongside L-shaped light. A second preview offers a profile view of the front clip. It shows a very wide square face that reflects the square grille. It should give the updated Palisade a very different face compared to the Tucson, while at the same time showing some commonality in the overall design. The fancy spoked wheels are shown for the first time, looking quite different from the pseudo-five-spoke aluminum wheels on the current top-of-the-range Calligraphy trim level. In its teaser press release, Hyundai specifically mentions that these new wheels offer a "premium look," suggesting that the photos could represent the higher trim level.
