Last day in St. Petersburg, Russia! The day starts with us walking along the Neva River on a beautiful spring morning - first we head to the Cruiser Aurora, the battleship which signaled the storming of the Winter Palace when the Bolshevik's overthrew the provisional government. After this we start walking back toward the main part of the city - the bridges in this area have views all around, with almost all major sightseeing points easily visible on a nice, clear day. We continue back through the beach area on Petrogradskaya, right outside of the Peter & Paul Fortress, which affords great views toward Vasilyevskiy Island - afterward, we head to this island and the Strelka area, and look back toward the Fortress.
