WICHE Spotlight: Veterinary Medicine Advisory Council & the Professional Student Exchange Program

WICHE Student Access Program staff share about the Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP) and the long-running Veterinary Medicine Advisory Council (VMAC), as well as chat with Dr. Wayne Jensen from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University (CSU) to discuss Colorado Proposition 129 and CSU’s new master’s degree program to train Veterinary Professional Associates (VPAs). This recently passed proposition represents a sea change in veterinary workforce training. WICHE Spotlight is cohosted by WICHE’s Western Academic Leadership Forum and the Western Alliance of Community College Academic Leaders, and members are encouraged to attend. These webinars are free and open to all interested in the activities of these two membership organizations that serve two- and four-year colleges and universities in the West.
