Eastland #sinking ship On July 24, 1915, people were beaming with happiness as they gazed up at the clear sky and the ship that was about to transport them all to Michigan for a brand-new unforgettable journey. To make this day the most memorable of their life, they pulled out their favorite outfits, watches, jewels, and most importantly, the camera. The staff from the Western Electric firm carefully began boarding the members with 50 people at once. The S.S. Eastland ship commonly referred to as the "Speed queen of the Great Lakes," carried 2572 passengers as well as crew members. The band began playing the majority of the passengers' favorite songs as they headed straight toward the deck, which increased their dopamine levels.
