In today's video, I will demonstrate how to perform some simple home Exercises for a Pinched Nerve in the Neck. -A pinched nerve can be caused by a herniated disc, arthritic changes to the joints near the nerve root and even postural changes. -The object to performing exercises for a pinched nerve in the neck is to open up the hole where the nerve root exits and to take pressure off of the joints near the pinched nerve. 👉Intervertebral disc injuries and lower cervical nerve root compression is always on the back of my mind when people have shoulder blade pain here. 👉A simple way to find out if your inner shoulder blade pain is coming from your neck or from the muscles around your shoulder blade is to tilt the head back, rotate it to the affected side and tilt it to the same side. If the shoulder blade pain increases, then it is likely coming from your neck. 👉This should be followed up with deep tendon reflex testing, sensation testing, manual muscle testing and the performing the cervical distraction test. ✳Saunders Cervical Traction (Affil): https://amzn.to/3znPzRq ✅ Support OEP: https://paypal.me/OrthoEvalPal?locale... ✅ OEP Website: https://orthoevalpal.com/ ✅ Online Coaching: https://orthoevalpal.com/coaching ✅ OEP Podcasts: https://orthoevalpal.com/podcast ▶▶ Like us on Facebook: / orthoevalpal ▶▶ Follow on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ ▶▶ Follow on Twitter: https://twitter.com/home ✔ Get our NEW downloadable 1.5 hour shoulder anatomy with cadaver dissection lecture: http://www.meorthopedicseminars.com/s... ✔Get our NEW downloadable 7.5 hour cervical and lumbar continuing ed course: http://www.meorthopedicseminars.com/s... ✔Get our NEW downloadable 6.0 hour shoulder continuing ed course: http://www.meorthopedicseminars.com/s... #innershoulderbladepain #scapula #scapularpain #pinchednerve #neckpain #armpain #neckexercise #OrthoEvalPal #SpecialTests #Orthopedics #physicaltherapy #athletictraining #chiropractic #occupationaltherapy
