This year's regatta was characterised by sunny, warm conditions, light winds, calm passages and foggy mornings. The Silverrudder Challenge of the Sea is an annual single-handed sailing regatta that starts and finishes in Svendborg, Denmark, and goes around the island of Funen. The shortest distance is 134 miles. The race is the largest single-handed offshore category 3 regatta in the world in terms of the number of participants.
