Griffin's Story

We lost our son Griffin at full term on August 8th, 2012. This is his story. UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has commented and left their love and support. The two years since Griffin died have had many ups and downs. Not a day goes by that I don't wish he was still here. The are a few little boys in our life who are the same age he would be now, and I treasure getting to see them grow up and imagine what Griffin would be doing now. Except I do know what he is doing now. He is in a place that we can only imagine, where there are no tears or pain. And though our time here on earth without him may seem long, to him it will only be the blink of an eye before we are reunited with him in Heaven. In the two years since he passed away we have also had the blessing of welcoming another baby boy. We welcomed our second little boy Caleb in September 2013, and we have the bittersweet pleasure of raising him earthside, doing many of the things we had dreamed of doing with Griffin. He is in many ways a little twin of Griffin, and I look forward to one day sharing with him the big brother who came before him, and whose death made the way for Caleb to join us.
