Road to ROBE 🛣🦞🔑 Murray Bridge to Kingston After leaving the Fleurieu Peninsula, we headed north/east to Murray Bridge. Heavy rain🌧 was predicted for the next couple of days, so we bunkered in at the showgrounds and caught up on some video editing & blogs. The showgrounds was really well priced, power & water - it was only $10 a night👏🏼. On our final day, the weather cleared a bit, enough for us to have a walk around town, check out the river and see the Bunyip.😝 All hitched up, we took it easy and cruised along the Princes highway. We ended up in Meningie and couldn’t not get a photo (with the ostrich) at the birdman of the Coorong statue. We had hoped to visit the local cheese🧀 factory but it was unfortunately closed. With the days weather still not looking great, we decided to continue making tracks and pulled up at the ‘Granites’ free camp⛺️ for the night. It was just out of Kingston and the perfect place to have a nice quiet sleep. The following day, we rolled in Kingston and got ourselves a photo with the giant Lobster🦞. We also drove down to the waterfront and checked out the Cape Jaffa lighthouse. A unique looking lighthouse and worth a look to learn about its history. Next up, it was time to roll into ROBE.
