Session 1 – Evidence Set 1 - Is the Bible the original creation account?

Session 1 introduces the six evidence sets we look for and expect to find in the Bible and the world if God wrote the Bible. From chapter 1 of “What if God wrote the Bible?” the six evidence sets are- 1. If the Bible is the original creation account, we would expect most origin stories of other cultures to reflect and borrow elements from the original; 2. Historical - We would expect geology, archaeology, and history to support the Bible; 3. See GOD writing history in advance; 4. See GOD protecting His words; 5. Philosophical and logical coherence-The Bible should hang together as if written by one author with central themes running throughout; and 6. We should find Prescience in the Bible. Evidence of scientific knowledge in the Bible thousands of years ahead of man's discoveries. Chapter 2 of the book explores the more than 300 creation accounts, myths and stories from cultures all over the world and throughout world history to find if we find elements of the Genesis account in them. This video session gives examples of these accounts and the results of this investigation finding that over 90% of these creation accounts show elements of the original biblical creation account and the worldwide flood.
