In PART 00 (DEMO), today we test out this CO-OP game in SOLO mode to be UTTERLY SHOCKED that Bethesda's REDFALL is nearly an EXACT CLONE of "A DAY OUT" but this DEMO was released way back in 2022!!! Did Bethesda lift this IP? No doubt REDFALL feels RUSHED and definitely BOTCHED...but could the pressure from A DAY OUT's planned release date in May 2023 be the reason REDFALL delivered such a bugged game full of missed opportunities??? Just TAKE A LOOK at the similarities below... for you to decide... is "A DAY OUT" BETTER THAN REDFALL? A DAY OUT is a monster-hunting & case-solving co-op shooter. Capture monsters and discover a new supernatural world with your friends! SOLVE CASES: Tackle cryptic cases that will each take place in a different part of the world. Find clues to aid you on your mission to solve these cases. Once the case has been solved, you’ll be tasked with having to deal with whatever creature is responsible. CAPTURE MONSTERS: Use the knowledge gained from your cases to capture these ferocious cryptids. Traps and other weapons can be used to subdue the creature, once secured, they will be displayed back at your FOB. - - - - A DAY OUT vs. REDFALL - - - - - 1. Both CO-OP FPS shooters 2. Various Monsters vs. Redfall Vampires (only) 3. Utilize Forward Operating Base (FOB) vs. Redfall Fire Station Base 4. Start in sleeping quarters after you die (Redfall the same) 5. Separate rooms for medical, armory, etc... (Redfall the same) 6. Large RV Mobile HQ (Redfall has useless Fire Truck) 7. Button layout identical to Redfall all the way down to the snappy click sound of the flashlight 8. Functional 4-wheeler ATVs (Redfall has useless vehicles that don't work and can only be blown-up) 9. Dark Basement in base where you would have to use your flashlight (Redfall does the first Vampire encounter here) 10. Additional Library Room, Silo Room for storage, Wardrobe Room with a mirror, and Vehicle Depot with 4-wheeler ATVs (Redfall doesn't have any of this extra programming) 11. Map planning board where you pick up quests (Redfall the same) AND ... the similarities don't stop there!!! Only REDFALL is far less developed THAN THIS DEMO!!?
